Cheer teams’ bring home championships after first competition of the 2022-23 season

The W.C.H.S. varsity and junior varsity cheer teams’ performed well at the DSU Cheer Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The varsity team competed in several events, placing in the top three in each.
The big win for varsity was found in their Gameday Performance, in which they took first place. The team also took second place in the Cheer Dance, Timeout and Top Stunt categories.
Varsity members Breeal Delgado and Kalysta Quintero competed individually in the Sideline Cheer category taking second and fifth place, respectively.
