Cluchie, boys 400 meter relay team qualifies for State

After seeing their outdoor track season postponed due to back-to-back snowstorms the past two weeks, Watford City’s boys and girls track teams were finally able to compete in outdoor meets last Thursday.
During the Bismarck Invitational on Friday, April 28, Dakota Cluchie qualified for State in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.44, while the boys 400 meter relay team, consisting of Aaron Cutshall, Levi Musser, Ethan Dennis and Cluchie, turned in a state qualifying time of 45.36.
“We had a good, nice low wind, warm day,” stated Dave Gumke, boys head coach. “This was a boy only WDA meet so we did get to see the rest of our competition for the WDA Region Meet.”
