Alexander continued their winning ways last Friday night with a dominating 52-8 win on the road over Surrey. Alexander remains in a tie atop the Region 3 standings with a perfect 6-0 record, and they continue to be ranked at No. 4 in the NDAPSSA 9-Man Football Poll.
“The goal was to travel to Surrey and reach our goal of going 1-0 every week,” stated Alexander head coach, Trey Jacobson. “And our kids got the job done. We executed well on both sides of the ball, outside of a few penalties that we will look to clean up going forward.”
Alexander won the turnover battle as their defense forced and recovered two fumbles. The offense was efficient early, building a big early lead that Surrey was never able to respond to.
