Comets open boys cage season with two wins

The Alexander Comets opened their varsity boys basketball season with a 38-30 win over the Divide County JV on Dec. 11, before picking up a second win over Mandaree, 50-47, on Dec. 13.
But the Comets took it on the chin in their next outing falling to New Town, 48-43, on Dec. 14.
The next action for the Comets will be on Jan. 3, when they host Divide County.
