Crusaders roll over Wolves

Watford City’s boys basketball team was no match for Trinity Christian last week as the Wolves fell to the Crusaders, 67-30.
This week, the Wolves, who are 3-7 on the season, will be hosting Our Redeemers on Saturday and then take on Class A Dickinson High in home action on Monday, Feb. 1.

Watford City had no answer to Trinity Christian’s athleticism and scoring ability last Monday night as the Crusaders rolled over the Wolves, 67-30.
While Watford City would get on the scoreboard first, it didn’t take long for the Crusaders to take control of the game.
The Wolves trailed Trinity Christian by 10 points, 15-5, at the end of the first quarter, and by 29 points, 40-11, at halftime.
Watford City’s offensive woes continued in the second half as Trinity Christian extended its lead to 31 points, 52-21, after three quarters of play.
Seth Indergard led Watford City in scoring with 10 points, while Nevada Berquist would net seven points in the loss.
Rounding out the scoring for the Wolves was Korbin Knutson with six points, Jarek Hogue with three points, while Cole McGorman and Jaydn Ewing would end the game with two points each.
