Erika Chivaran becomes first female state champion for Seawolves
What a weekend for the Seawolves at the 10 & Under Short Course State Championship in West Fargo. Five athletes competed, Clara Chivaran, Erika Chivaran, Exton Ericksen, Seidon Ericksen, and Cecelia Judy.
The Seawolves placed 10th overall out of 14 teams. Their opponents included the West Fargo Flyers, Aquastorm (Bismarck), Minot Swim Club, Fargo Moorhead Gators, Northern Lights Marlins (Moorhead), Williston Sea Lions, Mandan Marlins, Center Barracudas, Dickinson Dolphins, Breckinridge/Wahpeton Swim Club, Jamestown Jaws, Red River Valley Swim Team and swimmers competing unattached.
