Girls wrap up golf season with 12th place at State

The Watford City High School varsity girls golf team wrapped up its season with a 12th place finish at the 2015 Class B State Girls Golf Tournament. The tournament was played May 27 and 28 at the Jamestown Country Club.
The Wolves, who finished the tournament with a team score of 849, were led by Kendra Foreman, who shot rounds of 111 and 91 to finish with a 36-hole score of 202.
Other Watford City golfers who competed in the tournament were Abby McCauley, 207; Kasi Sorenson, 215; Jayden Uhlrich, 230; and Olivia Gronos, 247.
Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter claimed the state championship title with a team score of 758.
