Lady Wolves fall to Bowman County

Watford City made their first road trip of the season, traveling to Bowman where they lost to the Bowman County Bulldogs 53-39. Watford City entered the game ranked No. 3 in the statewide Division A poll, while Bowman County was ranked No. 2 in the Division B poll.

Bowman County was able to build an early lead as five different Bulldogs scored in the first quarter and the team went 5-of-8 from the free throw line. A three-pointer from Adi Schaff and an old-fashioned three-point play was the only offense Watford City could muster in the first quarter. Both offenses managed double digits in the second quarter. Sophia Headley scored 10 points in the quarter to lead Bowman Cou ty. Jessica Mogen scored four second quarter points to pace the Wolves.
