Mogen sisters find success at Minot State

The Minot State Women’s Basketball Team wrapped up their 2024-25 season with their most conference wins (nine) since 2017-18. Watford City’s Emma and Jessica Mogen both played an integral role on this year’s team.
Emma was named to the NSIC All-Conference Second Team. She played in and started all 30 games and led the Beavers with 907 minutes played in her senior season. She shot 43 percent from the field, 32 percent on 3-pointers (30 made three’s) and 73 percent from the free throw line. Emma led her team in the five major statistical categories as she averaged 12.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. Emma concluded her career at Minot State with 97 games, 763 career points, 406 rebounds, 173 assists, and 102 steals.
Jessica also had an impressive season. Jessica played in all 30 games and started 19 of them in her freshman year. She averaged 8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists per game and totaled 19 steals and 12 blocks. Jessica shot 77 percent from the free throw line, 40 percent from the field and made 15 three-pointers.
