The Pee Wee A Oilers traveled to Bismarck for the Capitals Cup this past weekend. The team had a tough weekend, but learned some lessons that will close the gap later in the season.
They started out against the JVC Prowl. JVC would get the only goal of the first period which was even as far as goalie saves.
Colton Fitzgerald got the Oilers on the board after a shot from Karson Kendrick was tipped by Kolby Wold, right to him and he hammered it home. JVC controlled most of the rest of the game.
Chasen Samuelson scored the last goal of the game on a wrap around, with the assist to Easton Ralph. 7-2 final, Cole Shettler had 24 saves.
