It was a week full of injuries for the girls cross country team. The two team seniors were out but their remaining teammates ran well and had a great showing.
The middle school girls were also impacted by a number of injuries, but the girls that competed did wonderful.
Girls High School results: Katie Olson, 3, 20:20; Lola Olson, 17, 22:50; Tricia Smitz, 30, 25:23.
Girls Middle School Results: Ashlyn Mayden, 9, 13:40; Ava Shold, 11, 13:46; Tayloe Erwin, 19, 15:06.
The Watford City Boys Cross Country team ran well as a team and only had a gap of 1:50 between their first finisher and their fifth. The progress is continuing and they hope to improve each week.
