Spikers advance to District 15 Tournament

Watford City dropped three games to a very good Hazen team in their final regular season volleyball match on Tuesday evening.
The Wolves lost the first game 25-8 before losing the second game 26-24. In the final game of the match, Hazen defeated the Wolves 25-3.
This week the Wolves, who are rated No. 2 in District 15, will enter the District 15 Tournament in Stanley.
Watford City will receive a first round bye in the District 15 Tournament. The Wolves first action at the District Tournament will be in the second evening game on Tuesday, Nov. 3 when they take on the winner of the Trinity Christian vs. Parshall game.
Following the district tournament, Watford City will advance to the Region 8 Tournament, which gets underway on Monday, Nov. 9 at Tioga High School.

Hazen 3, Watford City 0

A hard-hitting Hazen team handed Watford City three straight losses as the Wolves closed out their regular season. The Bison defeated the Wolves by scores of 25-8, 26-24 and 25-3.
McKayla Haugeberg led the Wolves with four kills and 11 digs, while Marti Quale had eight assists.
