Walleye take two wins from Stanley

The Watford City American Legion baseball team picked up a pair of wins over Stanley on June 14, as they swept the Stingers by scores of 2-1 and 12-9.
In the first game, after five innings of scoreless play, the Walleye would get one run across the plate in the top of the sixth inning with Stanley tieing the game in the bottom of the seventh.
Watford City would score the winning run on a stolen base in the top of the ninth inning.
