The golf season for Watford City’s boys and girls golf teams came to an end at their respective regional tournaments this past week as the girls team took fifth place and the boys team came in with a fourth place finish.
“The girls fought the elements on a cool and wet day at Stanley and were not able to turn in the scores that they had hoped to,” stated Mitch Greenwood, girls head coach.
Kendra Foreman paced the Wolves finishing third place overall and earning All-Region 6 honors for the third straight season, while Jayden Uhlich finished in 11th place, one place behind the cutoff to qualify for State.
While Foreman qualified for State, according to Greenwood, she will not be competing due to a scheduling conflict.
