The Watford City Oilers Jr. Gold split two league games last weekend. They lost to the Langdon Blades Freeze 1-8 on Saturday, Feb. 18, and beat the Northwood Ice Storm 10-8 on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The Oilers traveled to Langdon for a game against the No. 1 Blades. The Blades started the scoring early, and the Oilers were not able to catch up. The Oilers were down 6-0 to start the third period. Rhylan Olson cut the lead to five, with an unassisted power play goal on the high blocker-side corner at the start the period. That was it for the Oilers. Langdon scored two more in the last period. Zach Tomlinson and John Blegen had a combined 43 saves in the loss.
