WC Phillies defeat Miles City

Joseph Brothers collected three hits in three at bats, as the Phillies defeated Miles City Mavericks July 17, 2024. Brothers singled in the fouth inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fourth inning.
The Phillies captured the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the second when Brothers was struck by a pitch, driving in a run; Mekhi Samuelson was struck by a pitch, driving in a run; and Trysten Devries singled, scoring two runs.
The Phillies flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring seven runs on two hits to take a 11-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a signle by Brandon Spacher that drove in three.
