The Wolves had a great day at the Minot Souris Valley Invite last week. The weather was cool; the runners were focused and ran very well.

“We had big improvements overall throughout the team. The middle pack of our girls’ team decided to step it up and be competitive with other schools and each other, as a result we had a bunch of personal records and scored better as a team. We decreased our spread time from first runner to fifth runner on our team,” said Coach David Gumke.

Philly McCoy came out of nowhere and ran very well in the number four spot for the team, knocking off 1:26 from her best time. Brooklyn Spotted Bear ran up with her teammate Eden Ybarra, who has been running consistently as the number two runner all season.
