The Wolves ended the 2025-26 regular season with a road loss at Dickinson Trinity last Tuesday night. It was the eighth win in a row for the Titans, while Watford City ended the season with a record of 7-13.
“Trinity is a good team,” said Watford City head coach, Justin Hager. “I thought they came out and were super aggressive going to the basket. We didn’t do a great job communicating in the half court and missing eight free throws in the first half really hurt us. I thought our shot selection in transition wasn’t very good as we were settling for three’s instead of attacking the disadvantage when it was given to us. Quick shots in turn gave them more possessions. They are so efficient in the half court that you have to be smart when you have the ball. They will make you earn everything, so we have to value every possession.”
