WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND

Despite Christmas time being a season of hope, there is a strain of “doom and gloom” that is hanging over America. A friend of mine texted me this thought recently:
“Our country will soon be in such turmoil it will be unrecognizable. The people are absolutely nowhere in any control of their own destiny.’
My response was “God is still on the throne! I like our chances.”
He replies: “He’s been on the throne for every civil war, every genocide, every Banana Republic, every wrongful conviction. Soon our Flag will be of a different form. Just like Minnesota taking on Somali colors. Americans are soon to find out how cruel the world can be. Yes God is and will always be on the throne. Praise be to God.”
Despite the deep faith of this friend, he is still afraid of what awaits America.
