Alexander Old Settlers’ Day

This City of Alexander is in the final days of preparation for their annual Old Settlers’ Day festival. Festivities begin on Thursday, Aug. 31, and end the evening of Saturday, Sept. 2.
This year marks the 78th annual festival and organizers anticipate this year to be better than ever.
An organizer for the event, Brittni Hatter, explained some of what makes this event special, saying, “The event brings everyone in the community together at the close of summer and it’s a great way to kick off the start of fall, back-to-school, the end of harvest season and the start of the fall sports season.”
