Stonehome Brewing Co., welcomes new brewer
Stonehome Brewing Co. is happy to announce that Sam Ambrose, a talented brewer with diverse experience, has joined its brewing team in Watford City, N.D.
Ambrose was raised in small-town Kentucky, where he developed a love of the outdoors, music, and animals - and made a connection to the world of brewing. “I remember waking up on Saturday mornings to the sweet smell of malts being made into beer by my father in the kitchen,” Ambrose says. He got his start brewing commercially in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in 2021 and looks forward to sharing porters, stouts, English bitters, and more craft beers with Stonehome customers. “I’m always excited to show off the sweet side of my malts, and I can’t wait to start brewing for North Dakota,” he says.
“We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built as a leading craft beer producer in North Dakota,” says Steve Stenehjem, who founded Stonehome Brewing Co. with his wife, Gretchen, and their four children in 2016. “Small-batch craft beer is our specialty, and we know Sam’s experience and passion will help us introduce innovative new drinks to our brewpubs and beyond.”
