Vernon Ericson, 86, of Watford City, N.D., passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 8, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Nursing Home in Watford City. Vernon was born Oct. 6, 1932, to Oscar Ericson and Edna Ericson (Olstad) in a log house south of Arnegard. He attended Pleasant Hills School south of Arnegard through grade school.

He worked for Art Link from 1954-1955 and at the Lundin Ranch from April of 1956 until his retirement, after 50 years of employment. Vernon also enjoyed listening to old time and gospel music and visiting with friends and sharing memories about the old times over coffee and sweets.
Vernon is survived by his brother, Leslie Ericson; and by his nieces, Angie (Scott) Abbey of Del Valle, Texas, and Hope (Brian) Kovaloff of Mandan, N.D.; his nephews, David (Tammy) Rolla of Williston, N.D., and Conrad (Cherri) Rolla of New Town, N.D.
