We are being invaded. Repeat. There is an invasion happening as we speak at the U.S./Mexico Border. Every one of us should be alarmed about this national emergency and the lack of action by the Biden Administration to end it. This is a HUGE problem. And the Joe Biden Border Crisis is getting worse.
New data from United States Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) shows 211,401 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S./Mexico Border in April. That makes last month the second-highest total for April in 22 years. The data is tracked here (https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/southwest-land-border-encounters). For the first time in history, monthly apprehensions at the southern border have surpassed 150,000 for 26 consecutive months. In comparison, during the Trump administration, monthly apprehensions never reached 150,000.
With roughly 7,000 daily encounters, this is the very definition of a crisis. President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in 2019 that “more than 1,000” apprehensions a day “overwhelms the system.” We have left overwhelmed in the rearview mirror.
