Addiction treatment facility opens

“It’s kind of surreal that we’re here and we’re open. After three years, I feel like I can breathe,” says Brenda Owen, Summit Silver Creek Recovery Center (SSCRC) executive director, who opened McKenzie County’s first residential addiction and mental health treatment center on June 11.
Owen says she expects the $1.5 million facility, which is located south of Watford City at 2046 125th T Avenue, to fill up within one week.
