Alexander’s Terrille Jacobson named Athletic Director of the Year

Terrille Jacobson was named both the District 15 and Region 8 Athletic Director of the Year for the 2022-23 school year.
“This is an honor, but the athletic director is only as good as their support. I have the support of the school, my family, the staff, the kids, and the community that makes all of this possible,” Jacobson said.
She started her career 29 years ago, teaching in Alexander. She left Alexander to teach in Watford City for 13 years, but five years ago she moved back to where she considers home.
“I actually was even lucky enough to do my student teaching in Alexander,” Jacobson said with a laugh.
“Terrille is a very good athletic director, who puts her entire heart into the coaches and students. She spends countless hours at games supporting extra-curricular activities. Alexander High School also cooperates with the Williston Public School District and Terrille organizes our participation with baseball, hockey, softball and track. She also did a lot of work as our Region 8 representative on the 3-class basketball board. Along with her athletic director duties, she is an excellent classroom teacher. We truly appreciate Mrs. Jacobson’s efforts in making our programs successful!” said Leslie Bieber, the superintendent of the Alexander Public School District.
