Arnegard Fire Dept., Watford City Police Dept. receive grants

The Arnegard Rural Fire District and the Watford City Police Department were among nine entities in western North Dakota to receive grants from Farm Credit organizations in western North Dakota.
The Arnegard Rural Fire District received $25,000 to help with the purchase of a fire truck, while the Watford City Police Department was awarded $20,000 for police radios.
In all, the nine entities received $184,360 through the Rural Community Grant Fund for worthy programs that will improve lives in local communities.
