Badlands Search and Rescue hosts vital skills training in McKenzie County

Badlands Search and Rescue (SAR) hosted a week-long training event for officers from nine different states. The states represented included North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Missouri, Washington and Alaska.
Travis Bateman, Founder and Board President of Badlands Search and Rescue said the week started off incredibly hot and humid. He added, “The dedication to get it right, make corrections, redirect, and stay on scent, was pouring out of these SAR team members and law enforcement officers just as much as the perspiration.”
