Bakken Oil Rush Ministries to host The Gathering

Bakken Oil Rush Ministries (BORM) is hosting their annual community Thanksgiving event, called The Gathering, on Thursday, Nov. 16. This event is a free Thanksgiving -style dinner held at the Watford City Civic Center for all members of the community.
“We always hold The Gathering on the Thursday before Thanksgiving,” said Melanie Smith, executive director of BORM. “Everybody is welcome to come. It is for the whole community. It is a good opportunity to get together as a community and have a free meal.”
BORM is a non-profit charity that runs a thrift store in Watford City. They are known for their work with the community, donating goods to families and individuals in crisis, donating winter gear to children every year, and hosting a Toy Mall for children at the beginning of December. They also provide a number of other community services and focus on treating every individual with respect and charity.
