Burgum pleased with early poll results
The following is an interview with North Dakota Governor, and U.S. Presidential Candidate Doug Burgum conducted by Steve Hallstrom.
Hallstrom: What is the scenario for you to win the Republican nomination - what does that lane look like?
Burgum: The lane is pretty wide open. If you’re looking for a new leader for a changing economy; if you’re looking for someone who grew up in a small town; if you’re looking for someone who’s been a business leader and a governor; if you’re looking for someone who knows what it’s like to take a shower at the end of the day instead of the beginning of the day with all the jobs us North Dakota kids did growing up on the farm, the ranch and the elevator; if you’re looking for someone who’s got some common sense: that’s me.
