Calling all foodies

When it comes to attending a big event that is largely infused with food, most people would say it’s not their first rodeo. But going to a Food Truck Rodeo probably is. And who doesn’t love to eat?
“I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t,” says Mike Schmitz, who started the Food Truck Rodeo, that will hit the McKenzie County Fairgrounds on June 3-5.
This will be the first time ever for residents of Watford City, and surrounding areas, to experience a Food Truck Rodeo. And Schmitz says it will be an event not to miss if you like to eat!
“We’ll have All-Star teams coming from around the state to do the event,” says Schmitz of the food vendors.
The Food Truck Rodeo will feature a number of the state’s most well-known mobile food vendors, as well as a variety of tantalizing foods and adult beverages. In addition, kids inflatables and other fun festivities will be on the scene to keep the whole family happy.
