County JDA awarded Program/Promotion of the Year Award

Two innovative housing programs that were created by the McKenzie County Job Development Authority (JDA) and funded by McKenzie County were honored with the first “Program or Promotion of the Year” award by the Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND) as part of the Governor’s Choice Economic Development Awards.
“It took a huge team effort from the JDA working with builders, lenders, realtors and other government agencies to put these programs together,” stated Daniel Stenberg, McKenzie County JDA executive director, who received the award from Gov. Doug Burgum at the EDND Fall Conference on Oct. 13.
