As of May 5, the option to mail in ballots became available to McKenzie County residents who are interested in submitting their votes early for the June 14 election.
“Absentee and Mail Ballots were available beginning Thursday, May 5,” says Erica Johnsrud, McKenzie County auditor/treasurer. “Voting by this method will be available to voters until the day before the Election, or Monday, June 13.”
According to Johnsrud, voting will be available in the same ways people experienced for the November 2020 General Election.
“Absentee, Mail, and Election Day voting will all be possible for all qualified electors in McKenzie County,” Johnsrud says. “There are no changes to the standard method of voting that voters experienced in November 2020.”
The polls for the June 14 election will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the three vote centers within McKenzie County, Johnsrud says. “The polling locations will be the Watford City Civic Center, the Cartwright Hall and the Mandaree School Business Office.”
