Cultural Food Fair brings the flavors of the world to Watford

The first ever Cultural Food Festival at Watford City High School (WCHS) was held by students of the Watford City High School Student Council, student representatives of Vision West ND, members of the student body, and the community to put on.
The two students who spearheaded this event were senior Ally Cross and sophomore Aidan Pelton. They said they came up with the idea after meeting with Deb Nelson, the secretary for Vision West ND.
“Deb said there was a potential grant we could use and that started us thinking,” said Ally. “Originally I thought a taste testing [event] would be really cool because we have so many different foreign exchange students.”
