Despite missed testing deadline, city water is safe for consumption

The Watford City City Council released information stating that the city did not file the paperwork necessary to certify that the proper testing and procedures had been completed to ensure the quality of Watford City’s drinking water.
According to Justin Smith, who oversees public works, “The water is safe. The testing was done regularly, and all the testing results were within the safety parameters. The only problem was on the paperwork side of things.”
