Duo Baldo to perform at W.C.H.S. on Feb.1

It’s that time of year again when the Watford City Area Concert Association continues its 2021-22 concert series as the musical comedy team, Duo Baldo, will perform at Watford City High School on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m.
“Duo Baldo will be fun because they mix classical music with comedy,” says Jessie Veeder of the Long X Arts Foundation.
Comprised of a violinist and pianist/actor, Duo Baldo is based in Italy and has charmed audiences around the world with their unique blend of critically acclaimed performances that combine virtuosic skills with theatrical humor and pop culture.
“For people who may be apprehensive about going to a classical music concert, I think this is going to be a really great thing,” Veeder says.
On top of the fun twist it will provide for those unsure of the classical infused genre, it could also be a good way to turn kids on to the music too, Veeder says.
