Fall marks a time of change. When the temperature dips and the leaves begin to drop, there’s one thing you may know - it’s that first hit of crisp fall air that rejuvenates you from the inside out as that wave of fall freshness awakens you.
In some cultures, autumn marks a fresh start. While in others, it is simply a time to dabble in festivities. And luckily for you, there is much to enjoy this weekend.
Whether you’ve already been bitten by the fall bug or you’re going nuts to get out of the house, grab a pen and mark your calendar for the 2020 Fall Frolic 5K, which kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 17. The run begins with an 8:30 a.m. check-in time at Watford City’s Rough Rider Center (RRC).
Later in the day, Stonehome Brewing Co. will be hosting a Pumpkin Patch from 3 to 6 p.m.
“Essentially, it’s a pop-up pumpkin patch. So we’re getting all the pumpkins, we’ll have hay bales, and just kind of create that atmosphere,” says Louise Skaala, Stonehome Brewing Co. event coordinator.
