Family makes a home out of oil field

When Cory Wodelet and Jenny Otten both moved to Watford City, they didn’t know each other yet. But what they did know was that there was money to be made in the highly sought oil field of western North Dakota.
Today, the couple share a home on the outskirts of Watford City with their blended family of seven children, they have solid careers and truly enjoy how far they’ve come. And it all started in pursuit of a better life.
“We knew there was more opportunity here than what we were getting and then it just turned into a lifestyle,” she says.
