People looking to receive a free COVID-19 test kit can now receive one at the Upper Missouri District Health Unit or the McKenzie County Healthcare Systems, Inc.
Both facilities began distributing the free test kits last week and according to Ashley Saylor, Upper Missouri District Health Unit public health nurse, her Watford City office received 660 test kits for persons two years of age and older.
“The number of people picking up the test kits has been steady since we started making them available on Feb. 15,” says Saylor. “We have enough to provide test kits for every person in a household. Plus we can order more from the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) if we need more.”
The McKenzie County Healthcare Systems, Inc., began their distribution of the 360 COVID-19 test kits in the hospital’s lobby on Thursday, Feb. 17.
