Fulwider retires after 43 years

When someone goes into the profession of nursing, it’s second nature to help others. So when you think of the lives Brenda Fulwider impacted in the span of her nursing career, it probably numbers in the thousands.
Last week McKenzie County Healthcare Systems, Inc. celebrated Fulwider after she retired from 43 years as a registered nurse with the healthcare system.
“It’s very heart warming and unique for her to be at the facility for so long,” says Cheryl Faulkner of McKenzie County Healthcare Systems, Inc. “And if you think about it, how many lives she’s touched.”
After graduating from Dickinson State University in the late 1970s, shortly thereafter Fulwider started with the local healthcare system.
