Homefest set to be packed with excitement

Watford City’s Main Street will be hopping this Thursday through Friday, June 14, 15 and 16, as the Homefest weekend kicks off on Thursday evening with Dogs on the Deck at 5 p.m. at the Long X Visitor Center and running late into Saturday night. For many years now, Homefest has been put on every summer giving former classmates and their families, from far and wide, a chance to come visit and catch up.
The Watford City High School (WCHS) Class of 1970 also has big plans for this year’s Homefest.
“We were unable to have our 50- year class reunion in 2020 because of COVID-19,” says Jean Homiston, WCHS Class of ’70 graduate. “So we’re actually having a Class of '70 is turning 70 reunion.”
