If music, food and street dancing are what you call a good time, then mark your calendar for Thursday-Saturday, July 14-16, as Watford City kicks off its annual coming home event, Homefest.
“Homefest has different special events from different organizations throughout the weekend,” says Jessie Veeder of the Long X Arts Foundation, about Homefest. “So it kicks off with Dogs on the Deck on Thursday and Dime Sundaes at the museum are happening that weekend as well.”
With music and food on Main Street beginning Friday at 5 p.m. and going until 8 p.m., a street dance will follow and go until midnight as the Cody Charles Band plays.
“Then on Saturday we go right into some of the runs and the golf scramble and different fun activities for our community members throughout the weekend,” Veeder says.
