Megan Eising was described as a teacher who is “present with each child and gives each one the time they need. She always makes each individual feel like they are the most important person in the room and listens with her full attention,” by one of her student’s parents.
Eising who teaches kindergarten at Johnson Corners Christian Academy (JCCA) has been nominated for the 2022-2023 National LifeChanger of the Year award.
She grew up in northern Michigan and moved to Watford City 10 years ago with her husband and toddler. Now she has three children; a sixth-grade son, a second-grade son, and a daughter who is almost in kindergarten, and they call this area their home.
Originally, Eising had planned on becoming a pediatric physical therapist, but after working at a summer camp in Maine where all of her coworkers were either teachers or training to be teachers, she had a change of heart and decided that teaching was what she really wanted to do; to help children learn and grow in a more active role.
