Man responsible for death of Brian Rowe sentenced to prison

Carlos Mendivil-Beltran was arrested in Moorhead, Minn., following the murder of Brian Rowe in Dunn County, N.D., on July 25, 2021.
At the time of his arrest, Mendivil-Beltran was facing a Class AA Felony for murder and a Class B Felony for conspiracy to commit theft of property and theft.
According to the court documents filed with the Southwest District Court in July 2021, Mendivil-Beltran and Rowe were traveling together in Rowe’s vehicle on July 25, 2021, when an altercation occurred resulting in Mendivil-Beltran shooting Rowe multiple times, pushing him out of the vehicle and leaving him in the middle of the road.
