Though she loves to show her steer and lamb in 4-H, something was different for Jaime Mandler this year. She wasn’t looking super thrilled. She missed having her sister around to do this year’s Livestock Show for McKenzie County 4-H.
“It was a challenge to have my sister gone this year,” says Mandler. “I always had her here and now she’s not.”
While it was the second year of not having her sister who went away to college, Mandler says the upside to it was people having less expectations of her living up to her sister.
