McKenzie County continues to lead oil and gas industry

Last week the North Dakota Petroleum Council (NDPC) held its annual meeting at the Rough Rider Center in Watford City. Leader in the oil and gas industry and council member were in attendance to discuss the past year’s challenges and successes. Industry professionals also looked at what the future of the energy industry holds for the state and McKenzie County.
When McKenzie County Commissioner Chairman Howdy Lawlar gave a warm welcome by opening with the statement “McKenzie County is an exciting place to live.”
Lawlar went on to explain to all in attendance that McKenzie County continues to be committed in its partnerships with the oil and gas industry as it has impacted the economy profoundly.
