McKenzie County Tourism receives Main Street Award

McKenzie County Tourism has received the 21st Century Workforce Award as part of the 2023 Main Street Awards announced by Governor Doug Burgum.
“The Main Street Awards are an excellent opportunity to express gratitude and recognition to North Dakotans who demonstrated a unique and innovative approach in enhancing the quality of life in their community by applying the principles of the Main Street Initiative,” Burgum said. “These exemplary efforts showcase the tangible benefits that an engaged community can create for everyone.”
The Main Street ND Intitaive focuses on four main pillars that are meant to enhance the communities of North Dakota and foster growth. The pillars are: Healthy Vibrant Communities; 21st Century Workforce; Smart, Efficient Infrastructure; and Economic Diversification.
