The Prairie Rose Quilters Guild has partnered with the Long X Arts Foundation to show the expert work of many of their guild members. The Prairie Rose Quilters Guild is made of members that live locally in McKenzie County, and meet regularly to hone their craft.
The quilts are being displayed on the main floor and in the basement of the Long X Visitor Center.
“It’s a great way to celebrate National Quilting Month,” said Jessica Newman, the Long X Art Education, Outreach and Exhibit Coordinator who has been working with members of the Prairie Rose Quilt Guild for over a year to put the show together. “The craftsmanship and variety in this show is incredible. The talent these quilters have shared is special and worth the visit.”
There are 58 quilts on display and each of them are unique creations displaying a wide variety of techniques and styles.
