Military outreach aims to connect veterans with benefits

Both active members and veterans of the armed forces are encouraged to participate in a veterans benefit outreach event on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the McKenzie County Courthouse.
“You stepped up and volunteered to serve your country for a variety of reasons. And you spent your time in service to your country. Now it is time for your country to give something back to you. You have earned these benefits, and with the new PACT Act, your country has agreed and has expanded the benefits that it owes to you,” said Honstein in a press release.
