With five of the state’s natural gas processing plants back online, North Dakota saw its oil and natural gas production increase 2.8 percent in August.
“I’m happy to report that both crude oil and natural gas production recovered from July,” stated Lynn Helms, North Dakota Mineral Resources director during his monthly Director’s Cut on Wednesday, Oct. 13.
According to Helms, the five gas plants were down for either maintenance or expansion during the month of July which impacted the state’s oil and natural gas production.
