Summer lunch program begins

McKenzie County Public School District No. 1 (MCPSD1) is providing free breakfast and lunch for all children, from birth-to-18 years old, for the summer of 2023.
Starting June 1, through July 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. kids can go to door 11 at Watford City Middle School, which is the door across the street from the playground, and pick up a meal bag that contains food for both breakfast and lunch.
The district has said, “It is the goal of MCPSD1 to ensure all students have access to safe, healthy meals during the summer months.”
